Job description

**Preference given for Bistro and Courtyard experience.

Title
:
Bistro Server

  • Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to our service standards.
  • Do all necessary setup sidework as assigned.
  • Answer any guest questions about the menu.
  • Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and according to HACCP guidelines.
  • Follow the first in first out FIFO rule.
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles and according to quality standards and presentation.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers to prepare food.
  • Provide assistance in food & beverage areas, including busing, cleaning and resetting tables.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work AM and PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Smart Serve certificate required. Food handler certificate

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate in English is preferred.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must be a team player.
Ability to effectively deal with guest concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
General knowledge of food and food preparation techniques.

From $17.77 per hour
