With over 2,200 beds, Optima Living offers various living arrangements for seniors, from subsidized to high-end, Independent to Assisted Living, Long-term Care to Memory Care, and Residential Mental Health.
Summary:
As General Manager, your responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations. This entails managing finances, occupancy, resident support, employee relations, and fostering relationships with our support services team. This role reports to the Regional Director.
Do you possess the following experience & skills? If Yes, then you might be the right fit:
  • Minimum of five years in property management or a relevant diploma/degree in healthcare administration, long-term care, or hospitality.
  • Preference for experience in a retirement setting.
  • Completion of CPR and First Aid is beneficial.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors, and partners.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple resident requests.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity for prioritization and problem-solving.
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a skilled team of Managers and Front-line employees.
  • Set and execute site-level vision, mission, values, and strategies.
  • Drive results through team members.
  • Plan for growth and succession.
  • Cultivate a diverse, employer of choice culture focused on 'Let Us Welcome You Home.'
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Promote team building and engagement.
