The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering requirements of client needs.

The Business Analyst will define and analyze documents and prioritizes all client business requirements while working with the Solutions Architect and development team to determine the best solution.


Responsibilities

  • Planning and running small to large client projects.
  • Identifying and assessing client's business requirements.
  • Clearly defining scope of work to be completed.
  • Documenting detailed requirements for development team to work from.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architect and development team to create solutions.
  • Review completed solutions to confirm requirements have been met.
  • Present solutions to involved stakeholders.
  • Work with other Business Analysts to review and improve standards.
  • Work with Project Manager to review project timelines, scoping, and project statuses.
  • Work with Data Migration Analyst to ensure success of data migration process.
  • Work with Solutions Architect to ensure required solutions are delivered on time and accurately.
  • Work with Trainers to help direct training plans for new clients.
  • Participates in Scrum meetings, including Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings.
  • Follow all standards that are defined for the role.
  • Periodic travel to meet with clients across North America, Australia and the UK (no travel during COVID19)
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of solid experience as a Business Analyst
  • A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business Administration or an equivalent of work experience is preferred
  • Proven experience with high level planning, problem solving and analysis
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to draw out the needs and requirements of clients
  • A natural curiosity and desire to understand "why" things are the way they are
  • Quick learner that can be put into new situations and quickly become a domain expert
  • Analytical skills along with being able to conceptualize, design and document new features and business requirements
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Must possess sound decisionmaking and prioritization skills
  • High work standardswork ethic, task completion, consistency, follow up, accuracy/attention to detail, time management
  • Personal management skillsaccountability, selfmanagement, adaptability, creativity, initiative, implementation skills, and problem solving

Salary Range Disclosure
The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position.

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.

The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, profit sharing, 3 weeks paid vacation and more.
