Tantalum Mining Corporation of Canada specializes in the extraction of essential minerals like spodumene, cesium, and tantalum. We are looking for a Exploration Geologist to ensure our processing facilities consistently receive high-quality ore.
The Exploration Geologist will be crucial in overseeing the supply and quality of ore to our processing facilities. This role involves rigorous assessment and quality control to maintain and enhance our production standards.
Monitor and manage ore quality from extraction through delivery to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with mine operations to optimize ore extraction and processing techniques.
Conduct regular sampling and analysis to evaluate ore quality and determine necessary adjustments in mining operations.
Develop and implement quality control procedures for ongoing mineral production.
Prepare and present regular reports on ore quality and production efficiency to management and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geological Engineering or related field.
Minimum of ten years hands-on experience (mine geology, exploration, research) with rare metal LCT-type pegmatites.
Minimum 5 years mine geology experience in a pegmatite (preferred), gold or PGE operation.
Excellent communication and people skills to ensure the successful implementation and management of geological projects.
