Job Statement
We're hiring an
Events & Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Team.
As Events and Marketing Coordinator you'll be responsible for all events management from end-to-end. This includes the planning, producing, co-ordination and execution of all activities. You are expected to create materials to deliver the company's messages to the key audiences.
You will also perform other tasks that include owning and coordinating conferences, seminars, and meetings, as well as planning the communications calendar to ensure the program is executed on time, and on budget.
You are also expected to ensure information accuracy through an exceptional attention to detail for all written and verbal communications and engagements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of events that are driven by marketing, product management, and sales departments
- Research and select appropriate venues across Canada, dependent on various aspects
- Work with relevant departments to develop relevant communication content
- Potentially be onsite to ensure quality execution, and potentially from afar
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
- Provide regular updates and ensure broad communication
- Conduct postmortems/surveys after events have concluded. Both internally, and with attendees and recommend dobetters
- Order and maintain inventory of promotional items for all brands
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 13 years of professional experience
- 13 years of events/ hospitality experience
- Able to work in a rapidly evolving field
- Highly organized
- Time management
- Acute attention to detail
- Bilingualism (verbal & written)
- As Events & Marketing Coordinator, you will need to communicate and write clearly in both French and English since the individual will be dealing with internal and external customers within Quebec as well as other provinces across Canada.
