We are a busy custom machine shop, looking for an energetic mechanically inclined general machinist / toolmaker.

This position requires:

  • Experience in small to medium size parts with varying materials & plastics
  • Experience in metal cutting, including finish precision machining
  • Experience with a wide assortment of inspection tools and methods.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Excellent mathematical and mechanical drawing reading skills
  • Ability to use Mastercam, an asset.

Position Responsibilities
:
Set up, program and run conversational NC controlled milling machines and lathes.

Ensure that all parts machined to customer tolerances and requirements:

  • Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Able to work well with coworkers and management but also be selfmotivated.
  • Be a multitasker that can effectively handle changing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Some CNC programming experience with FANUC controls on lathes and mills would be an asset

Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
