OVERVIEW


The junior analyst reports to the Manager of Finance, Capacity and Planning on all aspects of the performance of assigned tasks, including quality requirements, scope and timelines.

The junior analyst must have a strong knowledge of accounting and procurement cycle.

The individual must have a strong ability to work with various stakeholders and is responsible for making recharges to the various business units and projects as well as maintaining a follow-up of the current ones.

- _RESPONSIBILITIES_

  • Make requisitions and follow their life cycle
  • Make recharges according to the time sheets and obtain approvals from managers
  • Prepare the required accounting entries
  • Perform ad hoc analysis with internal and external stakeholders
  • Consolidate information to produce management reports on the current financial situation
  • Prepare sectoral reports with the help of the PCOs
  • Strengthen effective data collection and accuracy of weekly estimates
  • Tracks and analyzes the nature of expenditures related to actual costs and commitments
  • Prepares necessary adjusting entries
  • Communicates financial information to users/stakeholders and responds to any inquiries from them Participates in the preparation of reports
  • Performs all other related tasks.
  • QUALIFICATIONS_
- _ACADEMIC_

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a DEC with experience. Other related programs
  • EXPERIENCE_
  • Minimum of 35 years experience as an accounting technician or equivalent in a large company environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial sector, and/or in the technology field would be relevant
  • SKILLS AND ABILITIES_
  • Focus on details and accuracy of data;
  • A high level of rigor and a great sense of organization;
  • Ability to work under mínimal supervision;
  • Team player;
  • Knowledge of JDE 9.0 would be an asset;
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Point etc.);
  • LANGUAGES_
  • Fluency in French and English, both oral and written;
