Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – AW169 Aircraft

Location: Vancouver, Kamloops, Prince Rupert, Prince George, Parksville (Band 5a)
We are looking for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) interested in joining one of the four new operational bases in British Columbia (Vancouver, Kamloops, Prince Rupert, and Prince George). As an AME, you will report to the Crew Chief and be responsible for the efficient completion of assigned maintenance and repair tasks.
In this position, you will:
- Maintain, adjust, modify, test, diagnose, and repair AW169 aircraft.
- Create and complete task cards and work packs in WinAir.
- Utilize specialized aviation and power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of repair and maintenance activities.
- Follow the necessary safety protocols and wear Personal Protective Equipment.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Handle aircraft cleaning tasks both internally and externally.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any hazards, incidents, or accidents through the designated system.
- Accurately record labor in the tracking system for all tasks.
- Abide by Transport Canada guidelines for all work performed.
- Undertake any other assigned duties.
- Hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.
- Possess experience with rotary-wing assets, specifically Leonardo Helicopters AW-Family aircraft like the AW169.
- Demonstrated proficiency with WinAir or similar maintenance programs.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Physically capable of sitting, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work shifts and comfortable with heights.
- Eligible for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Authorized to work in Canada or able to obtain a Canadian passport.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.
