As an Asphalt Plant Operator, You Will:

  • Conduct daily maintenance and repairs of Asphalt Plant as/when required to minimize breakdowns
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspection/maintenance logs
  • Perform major repairs and/or rehabilitation of asphalt plant components
  • Back up Asphalt plant operator (will train)
  • Operate loader to feed the plant when required
  • Coordinate, communicate and work with the asphalt plant manager to ensure high quality production of asphalt products
  • Maintain inventory of wearable maintenance components/parts for plant

What You'll Bring:

  • AZ or DZ Drivers license would be an asset along with a clean drivers abstract
  • Welding and mechanical skills is an asset
  • Front end Loader experience (824K / 972M or equivalent) is an asset
  • Millwright experience or training is an asset
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Maintain & operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Basic computer skills
  • Team player with a focus on safety
  • Flexible hours required
