Job Description:

Pasrt-Time Seamstress

You are at the heart of the hotel As a Seamstress, you will take ownership of repairing and altering all colleague uniforms as well as guest items upon request.

What you will be doing:

• Take ownership of guests' privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service
• Maintain and operate an organized and efficient working station
• Keeping accurate inventory of all clothing items being repaired
• Alter, mend, and modify clothing items upon request from both colleagues and guests
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Your experience and skills include:

• Excellent organization skills and time management
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Sewing skills required
• Previous seamstress experience an asset

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40+ lbs
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
