A career as an Analyst in the Financial Markets Operations at National Bank means collecting, analyzing, and interpreting a variety of data.

In this role, you interact with the different sectors of the Bank and more experienced professionals in order to offer technical support of a current nature to the stakeholders in the day-to-day operations.

Your job:

  • Process nonstandard rejected transactions for settlement or payment
  • Act as a point of contact for the business line account managers, internal and external portfolio managers and other operational teams
  • Analyze the information gathered and explain discrepancies and make recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Verify and coordinate daily production in the team.
  • Master the endtoend of the various processes related to the custody of value in order to provide quality support.
  • Contribute to the building of the Centre of Excellence for Custody Operations

Your team


Within the transaction processes and regulations team in Financial Market Operation you are part of a team of 17 colleagues, and you report to Suzanne De Jonge manager of the Operations team.

You collaborate on a daily basis with a team compound of many expert analysts and coordinators.

Prerequisites

  • Threeyear college diploma or equivalent, related to the industry and three years of relevant work experience.
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Experience in continuous improvement desirable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of financial market business processes
  • Knowledge of financial concepts, asset
