Applications are invited for the position of Professor, Supply Chain & Operations within the School of Business and Management. This position will commence April 2024 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus.

Required qualifications:

Required knowledge and experience:

  • A minimum of 57 years of recent related progressive experience in Operations and supply chain management, logistics, quality management systems, and tactical planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop multimedia materials and alternative delivery strategies and incorporate appropriate educational technologies into the learning process.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate learning with a diverse range of students to support their success.
  • History of forging strong working relationships with peers and colleagues.
  • Proven willingness to contribute to a strong team environment and positive work culture.
  • Evidence of commitment to supporting and guiding students toward their successes.
  • Proven ability to deliver course content to a diverse student population.
  • Advanced internal and external networking/relationship building and liaison abilities.
  • Professional affiliations and related professional designations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problemsolving, and analytical skills.
  • SCC, SCMP, ASCM, Six Sigma designation.
  • Project Management designation: e.g PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP.
  • Experience in curriculum design and development for applied learning which accommodates students' diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences, and individual learning styles.
  • Experience in virtual/hybrid learning design or delivery.
  • Practical experience with D2L (Brightspace) and/or other online learning management software programs.
