Position Summary
Support the development and delivery of various projects under the Workforce Development portfolio

Contribute to the development of engagement strategies for newcomers to Kingston

Conduct research related to trends in workforce development and provide recommendations for program and content development

Contribute to the development of digital content

Assist in the organization and delivery of programming and events

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Competencies
MUST BE ENROLLED IN AND RETURNING TO FULL-TIME POST-SECONDARY STUDIES IN FALL OF 2023

Successful completion of 2 years post-secondary studies in social sciences, business administration, data analytics, communications, economics or equivalent

Experience researching a variety of topics and analyzing data

Excellent writing skills and the ability to develop engaging, informative content

Experience using WordPress would be considered an asset

Must demonstrate corporate competencies:
Customer Focus, Results Orientation, Integrity, and Teamwork
Skills, Abilities, Work Demands
Excellent research and analytical skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively on a variety of projects

Basic understanding of labour market trends and issues would be considered an asset
