Lead the delivery of innovative clean technology solutions, leveraging your technical expertise and team-oriented skills.

  • Oversee the entire commissioning project lifecycle, working closely with our Project Management Office (PMO) and Engineering teams to commission systems/plants at our factory and customer sites.
  • Engage in comprehensive commissioning planning, encompassing budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and procedure/standard development for factory and site commissioning.
  • Represent Saltworks at customer job sites. Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality system/plant commissioning and ensure a seamless handover to customers (regular international travel will be required).
  • Bring forward design feedback, driving continuous improvement and innovation within our engineering teams.
  • Implement standardized, efficient commissioning processes while enhancing our cutting-edge industrial desalination and resource recovery plants.
  • Become a subject matter expert, enabling you to keep and expand technical skills while also developing project management skills.

You must have a valid passport and be able to travel to customer sites internationally. A relevant Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Integrated, or Commissioning with years of working experience as an engineer in an industrial setting, particularly in the backend of project delivery and handover.
Familiarity with industrial safety standards for mechanically and electrically energized systems.
A proven track record of delivering high-quality commissioning work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Proficiency and hands-on experience in hydrostatic testing, mechanical and electrical commissioning, process control commissioning, and field commissioning.
Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure commissioning processes are safety oriented.
Exceptional critical thinking skills, adept in risk management, and an excellent troubleshooting mindset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain a high quality of work and quickly learn new skills.
Impeccable attention to detail and a sense of urgency in completing projects on time.
Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work, while meeting deadlines.
