Michael Kors is looking for an Omni Merchandise Specialist to assist the team in all facets of managing a growing domestic and international business.
What You'll Do:
- Initiate and generate business analysis to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities in the assortment to achieve continued growth and profitability
- Recommend timely markdowns/promotions on goods. Share insight based on reviewing analysis to strategically grow and impact the business
- Work closely with planning and allocations to execute merchandising strategy on bydoor basis. Work with allocations team and store management to ensure assortments by door are maximized
- Partner with merchandising manager to develop and execute seasonal plans, merchandising and promotional strategies for all categories
- Manage inventory movement between Channels (Omni, Outlet, Wholesale) on a weekly basis
- Foster and leverage cross functional relationships to create opportunities for the business
- Oversee the management of assortment sheets, pricing/conversion files, markdowns and onorder
- Maintain and communicate Canadian calendar of holidays and other key promotional time periods
- Partner with team to run analysis and prepare selling hindsight in order to help identify opportunities in the assortment. Attend and actively participate in market. Responsible for entering all market orders
- Perform monthly store visits
You'll Need To Have:
- Must have 2+ yrs. experience in Retail Buying or Merchandising
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree

- Strong Excel Skills
- Strong analytical and creative problemsolving skills
- Elevated fashion sense and knowhow
- Energetic with cando attitude and ability to thrive in entrepreneurial environment

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les services de planification et de répartition pour mettre en œuvre la stratégie de marchandisage porte par porte. Travailler avec l'équipe de répartition et la direction du magasin pour s'assurer que les assortiments par porte sont maximisés.
- Collaborer avec le responsable du marchandisage pour élaborer et exécuter les plans saisonniers, les stratégies de marchandisage et de promotion pour toutes les catégories.
