Medical Arts Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy with two locations in Cornwall. We cater to individuals in the community, long-term care residents, retirees, and those in continuing care facilities. Proficiency in Kroll and Emar software is beneficial. Prior experience in LTC pharmacy settings is advantageous for this role. The Pharmacy Assistant will collaborate with the Pharmacist to dispense medications, address inquiries, and assist patients.

Duties include:
  • Entering, updating, and processing data in the pharmacy system efficiently
  • Billing prescriptions accurately
  • Handling phone inquiries and patient interactions
  • Communicating with healthcare professionals
  • Monitoring inventory levels and expiry dates


Qualifications:
  • Prior pharmacy experience
  • Teamwork and positive attitude
  • Efficient working skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of pharmacy calculations and processes
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in various computer systems
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in Nursing Home pharmacy settings

Medical Arts Pharmacy operates from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays. We offer competitive pay, benefits, pleasant work environment, staff lunches, and more.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
