Raise Workforce has partnered with the leading provider of workforce camp and hospitality services, operations and maintenance services.

They are seeking an experienced
Inventory Technician that will be responsible for for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records, and organizing for the shipping and distribution of supplies, equipment and tools stored in the warehouse.

This role is also responsible for operating hand operated lifts and or automated equipment such as forklifts.

What you will be doing...

  • Receive, inspect, and store all warehouse stock
  • Pull parts/supplies from shelves and prepare them for delivery
  • Fill orders for supplies and equipment as approved
  • Issue supplies and equipment
  • Prepare and return parts/supplies as required
  • Prepare and arrange shipping manifests
  • Take periodic inventories, verify inventory reconciliation, overage, storage and damages
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Ensure that all paperwork is properly executed and filed accordingly
  • Update and work with SAP
  • Maintain inventory of tooling and report defects to management for repair
  • Work with tools and maintain the tool sign out register
  • Perform related tasks as required

Why this is the right job for you

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
  • Forklift, skid steer, WHMIS and CSTS certifications required
  • 35 years prior experience in a similar role required
  • Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel
  • Strong time management, organization, and documentation skills
  • Prior experience generating reports and completing inventory control
  • SAP Software experience preferred
  • Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry and Aerial Work Platform certifications considered an asset
  • You're able to work away from home for 2 weeks at a time and can work a 12hr shift, flexible for day or night when required
  • Willingness to complete preemployment screening include criminal record check (7 years) and 10panel drug and alcohol screen
Please note that onboarding will take approximately 3 weeks to complete from offer to sign off. Start date is April.
