B1900 Captain

Pacific Coastal Airlines Pilots are the ambassadors of our company who are responsible to provide outstanding service to our customers to ensure a safe and pleasant experience.

Our pilots must embody the Pacific Coastal motto of "People Friendly, People First" and role model behaviors that respect corporate values, professionalism, diversity and service excellence to our internal and external customers in the air and on the ground.

Behind the controls, our Pilots maintain an attitude of safety, comfort, schedule and are well trained in the emergency related procedures for the aircraft, ensuring all safety above all else.

On the ground, they are part of a team who works in conjunction with crew members and ground agents to escort and board passengers, assist with bags and help out wherever and whenever possible, to ensure on time performance and customer service are at a premium.

They are our safety and service professionals and are always leading by example. Entrusted with safety, security and service excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1500 Hours Total Time
• Must have completed (on type) initial as well as one full year in a B1900 or Saab 340 First Officer position:
• ATPL requirements met (license may be pending)**:
• Simulator time spent receiving training at Pacific Coastal Airlines will count as double toward total time

**Only applies to FO Upgrades who have not previously held a Captain position at Pacific Coastal Airlines
**Some relief of PIC time requirement may apply

Safety and Security

• Ensure the safety, security and comfort of all passengers
• Follows and enforces standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with Pacific Coastal Airlines and regulatory requirements

Customer Service

• Deliver service standards in accordance with Pacific Coastal Airlines philosophy
• Greet and engage passengers on board the aircraft
• Carry oneself in a professional manner

All internal applicants must be meeting performance expectations in their current role in order to be considered.
