This position is a 6-month contract position, with the potential to turn into a full-time permanent position at the end of the term

Your Contribution


As a warehouse worker/assembly technician, you will play a key role in ensuring timely preparation of products for customers, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading, and unloading delivery vehicles and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.

A day in the life of warehouse worker/assembly technician includes:

  • Assemble, test, clean and maintain Home Care equipment ensuring all mechanical components are working properly and all items are clean and sanitized.
  • Make repairs to the equipment as needed, utilizing spare parts from surplus equipment
  • Work with coworkers and contractors to ensure the scheduling and operational procedures are maintained
  • Keep a clean and organized workspace
  • Able to lift 45 lbs unaided
  • Establish longterm relationships with Occupational Therapist and clients by providing superior customer service
  • Delivery and pickup of medical equipment including beds
  • Notify management of complaints as well as provide information to clients when required
  • Obtain signatures for all invoices upon delivery
  • Schedule vehicle maintenance and operate vehicle in a safe manner
  • Ensure equipment is handled according to standards
  • Warehouse related tasks are roughly 80% of this position's tasks
  • Other tasks as required, generally warehouse related
