Your impact as a Warehouse Coordinator
The
Warehouse Coordinator will support the timely flow of materials through our manufacturing facility. This role involves both computer work at a desk and physical hands-on work in the warehouse.

The work includes operating the forklift and other warehouse equipment as required, shipping and receiving, as well as providing support to inventory management and warehouse operations.


  • Perform general warehouse duties, including organizing shelves, pallet racking area and other warehouse areas to ensure a smooth flow of materials
  • Safely operate the forklift (sitdown counterbalance) and other warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet jack, pallet stacker) to load and unload materials from trucks and pallet racking
  • Receive products according to standard operating procedures; perform quality checks, investigate discrepancies between the packing slip and PO and report any damaged products
  • Package customer orders according to procedures and customer requirements (this may include building wooden crates)
  • Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is complete and accurate
  • Assist with all inventory counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels
  • Operate the company van (class 5 driver's license is required) to pickup & dropoff materials locally when required
  • Assist with arranging logistics, utilizing both local couriers and international freight carriers
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving
  • 2 years of sitdown counterbalance forklift experience with valid forklift certification
  • Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to use the computer and work with MS Office Suite
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills
  • Selfmotivated team player with ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • This is a role working out of our Vancouver, BC location fulltime
  • Work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
