We are currently looking for a GRILL COOK to join our dynamic team at GLOWBAL RESTAURANT located in Vancouver's landmark, TELUS Garden, this is where stripped down North American cuisine lives and breathes, taking ingredients from across the continent.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • FOODSAFE certification is an asset
  • Strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions
  • Energetic with a passion for food and a positive outlook
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions
  • Experience as a grill cook grilling, frying, sautéing, chopping, etc.
  • Likes to work as part of a team
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Prepare meats and other food items for cooking on grills
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the work area
  • Assist in food prep during offpeak periods as needed
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be familiar with all proper norms and techniques of handling food products
  • Must have knowledge of basic grilling techniques and gilling procedures

TO WORK FOR US:

You MUST have valid proof of Social Insurance Number and be legal to work in Canada with proof as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Residence or Valid Work Permit.
