Role Overview:


We are currently assisting our client in their search for a talented and dedicated GMP Equipment Engineer to join their team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and compliance of manufacturing equipment in accordance with GMP guidelines.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to develop strategic technical plans, oversee equipment initiatives, and drive continuous improvement efforts.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Engineering Subject Matter Expert for CAPA development and Root Cause Analyses, supporting deviation investigations and managing completion of Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs)
  • Oversee the design, specification (URS/FS/DS), procurement, installation, commissioning, testing, qualification (IQ/OQ), and handover of equipment for manufacturing and packaging processes
  • Drive the development and implementation of equipment modifications and improvements
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop strategic technical plans ensuring adherence to project schedules
  • Engage in site change control processes in roles such as change owner, technical reviewer, or task owner
  • Lead crossfunctional teams in the execution of equipment initiatives for both existing and new equipment
  • Manage the selection and oversight of professional consultants, contractors, and suppliers
  • Promote Environmental, Health & Safety awareness throughout every phase of the project
  • Create and draft procedures and standards for site equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, P.E. preferred
  • Experience in GMP manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations and standards
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead crossfunctional teams
  • Proven proficiency in equipment design, specification, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
