Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Control Panel Technician to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of control panels for industrial machinery and equipment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a talented team of engineers and technicians.


Responsibilities:
Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble control panels according to specifications.
Install and wire electrical components, including relays, switches, circuit breakers, and PLCs.
Conduct functional tests and quality inspections to ensure the integrity and performance of control panels.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostic tests to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, test results, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:
Technician diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in control panel assembly and testing within an industrial environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Strong knowledge of electrical components and their functions, including PLCs, relays, and sensors.
Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred

Qualifications:
Experience with programming PLCs and HMI systems.
Familiarity with industrial automation protocols, such as ENET I/P, Modbus and Profibus.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for electrical installations (e.g., CSA, NEC, UL).
