Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and communication of the longterm, strategic vision and roadmap for estimating solutions in conjunction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engages, influences, and inspires key stakeholders, business partners, and solution teams to drive collaboration and alignment of product vision.
  • Creates, maintains, and prioritizes backlog, ensuring alignment with product managers, strategy and Portfolio Management, and corporate objectives.
  • Identifies and investigates innovative and valueadding enhancements to create additional efficiencies, and enhance the alignment of the operational product management of the estimating solutions with MPI's policies and procedures.
  • Oversees overall product lifecycle management through working closely with stakeholders in Product Management, Operations and Information & Technology to ensure business opportunities are identified, properly assessed, prioritized, and managed in alignment with the overall physical damage claims strategy.
  • Collaborates with Business Analysts to collects, analyse, and generates business insights from data as well as internal/external user feedback to define requirements and proactively address potential issues.
  • Gathers and translates customer business needs and opportunities into use cases and acceptance criteria to enable the development of finished deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting, business analytics, commerce, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Project management designation is an asset.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification is an asset.
  • Four years of related experience, including:
  • Experience in estimating and physical damage claims management
  • Experience in project planning, product or software management, or vendor management
