Customer Service/Embroidery Assistant

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Order entry, customer service.
  • Take and complete regular sales orders including information on customizations.
  • Ensure the front show room is organized, neat, tidy, and clean.
  • Answer phones professionally, handling customer service requests and forwarding calls as required.
  • Handle customer service requests including discussing orders, shipments, service and/or pricing.
  • Liaise with the Embellishment team on embroidery orders and provide clarity on details of work to be done.
  • Liaise with the Distribution center team on shipping of customer orders, back orders.
  • Handling of embellishment administration including customer quotes, crest ordering, inventory control.
  • When required, assist in shipping and receiving, and warehouse functions.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of Grade 12 education.
  • Some postsecondary education and/or related work experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in an office function.
  • Aboveaverage computer skills/knowledge you must be proficient in using a variety of computer programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and be comfortable with learning our internal ERP system.
  • Customer service skills.

  • Detail oriented accuracy is extremely important in this role.
  • Efficiency you must work efficiently and effectively to keep up in this fastpaced environment.
  • Organized time management skills are very important as this is a busy environment where you are handling multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Multi-Tasking you will be doing multiple tasks throughout the day & need to be able to manage these effectively & efficiently.
  • Communication you must be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization as well as customers.
  • Problem solving skills you must be able to identify mistakes and bring issues forward to your supervisor as required.
  • You must be able to handle paperwork effectively.
  • You must have your own means of transportation to/from work.
