What you'll do:

Monitor market pricing of lumber commodity items and provide direction and authorization to your direct reports on competitive delivered market pricing to quote local Co-ops for product supplied from our lumber DC's. Understand local Co-op requirements, provide product education, market information, and build a strong professional relationship with local Co-ops while providing a high level of customer service. Consult and act as an SME with local Co-ops daily and assist with managing their lumber commodity inventory levels or any special purchase needs to support them in driving sales and improving turns, margins, and use of working capital. Provide daily direction and support to direct reports to ensure they are meeting or exceeding expectations of local Co-ops while promoting the benefits of the centralized procurement model and lumber distribution facilities. Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, to coordinate, analyze, forecast, and develop strategic data.

The Team: You will work closely within your team of 3, as you will have 2 direct reports, and you will report into the Building Products Merchant. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration and engagement while striving towards results with customer focus in mind.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

Have 3-6 years' experience in retail/wholesale hardware or building materials industry. Have a University Degree in Commerce (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). Are proficient in Microsoft Office.
