As a Swatch Sales Lead, you will report to the store management team and will assist in coaching sales associates on meeting individual and store goals.

Although your focus will be on sales initiatives, your responsibilities are also to provide excellent customer service, train and reinforce employees on policies and procedures.

You will be expected to participate in daily operating routines and adhere to visual merchandising standards for the Swatch brand.


You will possess the following Swatch Core Competencies:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES GENERATION

  • Coach, train and motivate sales associates to provide excellent customer experience leading by example.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service while completing each transaction in a quick and efficient manner, minimizing delays to the customer.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of all Swatch core and launch products to offer selection guidance to customers.
  • Assist in communicating sales goals and performance results to sales associates; updating store management team on performance observations.
  • Lead in sales by meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
  • Actively use selling techniques to influence multiple items per transaction (upselling/crossselling).
  • Meet and/or exceed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals (SPH, UPT, etc.)

OPERATIONS

  • Support management with training of employees on PointofSale (POS) transactions and ensures transactions are processed accurately.
  • Assist with effective and timely processing of shipment, receiving, transferring, repricing, retagging, stocking and replenishment according to guidelines.
  • Adhere to opening and closing procedures.
  • Comply with inventory control processes to prevent asset loss (shrink).
  • Assist in the investigation of inventory discrepancy issues.
  • Follow directives from management and execute store merchandising standards.
  • Ensure all visual and housekeeping standards are met consistently.
  • Serve as a health and safety representative to ensure safety in the workplace; prevent accidents and report all incidents of unsafe conditions and/or practices in a timely manner.

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability to work opening and closing shifts; flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • At least 2 years retail sales experience, preferably in fashion and/or accessories.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written), including strong relationship building skills.
  • Results oriented with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability to communicate in a clear concise and understandable manner.
  • Must be a selfstarter who works well independently and in team environments

EMPLOYMENT STATUS
Part-Time, Minimum 15 hours per week on average.

Part-Time employees must maintain open availability to meet the needs of the business and may be required to work more than 29 hours a week, certain holidays and blackout dates.


WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed with moderate physical effort is required and significant walking and standing is required for the majority of each shift. While this position has a low risk of injury, the position requires lifting, pushing, pulling and holding (up to 35 lbs and above with appropriate support) of boxes and store fixtures, as well as, significant focus when completing paperwork, cash management or using the POS.
