CEDO Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and utilize nondestructive test equipment
  • Assist NDE Technicians while conducting testing to determine if it meets accepted specifications of codes and standards
  • Assist NDE Technicians in the calibration of NDE equipment
  • Record results of inspections
  • Perform inspections at plant turnarounds/projects
  • Perform any other job related tasks as assigned by Management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current CEDO certification
  • Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, EWP, CSO and WHMIS certifications
  • Current police background check will be required.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers' License and clean Driver's Abstract
  • Highly motivated selfstarter with a positive attitude
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Additional NDE certifications considered an asset
  • Experience in Digital RT considered an asset
