Ils Coordinator

Riverview Enhanced Living is a community of care, support, and advocacy for adults with varying abilities.

We are made up of an Adult Residential Centre and Supportive Community Living Options which includes group homes and apartments.

We are currently recruiting an
ILS Coordinator to help support our clients who live independently in apartments.

Core Job Functions:

• Provide leadership and direction to ensure a sound staff team and highquality clientbased programs
• Assess potential clients for the program and make recommendations regarding suitability of placement, referrals, admission, and discharge
• Ensure a holistic approach to client care, including but not limited to freedom of individuality, leisure needs, personal hygiene and appearance, physical and mental health, relationships and social skills, life skills, vacation periods, and spiritual needs in the least restrictive environment as possible
• Assist assigned clients in job searching
• Assist with menu planning (with use of Canada's Food Guide and a Dietician if required), meal preparation, grocery shopping, household chores, bill payment, personal hygiene, laundry, care of belongings, budgeting and support when required in balancing the clients bank statement, use of community services, use of public transportation promote developmental growth and increased independence

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education in a Human Services field or Community College Diploma
• Oneyear experience or a combination of education, training, and related work experience
