This position is an integral part of the clinic's overall daily activities.

The medical aesthetician is responsible for all formal interactions with the client, as well as for the general success of the business-client relationship.

Their principal task is to perform clinical interventions, while respecting approved protocols. Other related tasks include administrative support and coordinating activities with top management. Proficiency in Russian language is an asset.

  • Organizing and setting up the necessary equipment for an intervention (preparing ice packs for patients and rooms, filling gel bottles, etc.)
  • Reviewing the treatment protocol and the "before/after" sheets.
  • Ensuring that all of the intervention's requirements are satisfied.
  • Accompanying the patient to the intervention room.
  • Giving the patient information about interventions, as well as preoperative and postoperative care.
  • Taking photos of patients before and after treatments.
  • Cleaning the room after the intervention.
  • Selling products to patients.
  • Cleaning the equipment, the instruments and the room, making sure that the latter has an adequate inventory.
  • Documenting the patient's progress in their file.

MANAGING PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES THAT ARE UNRELATED TO INTERVENTIONS

  • Doing the laundry.
  • Supporting the integration of technologies, when necessary.
  • Offering support to receptionists.
  • Making followup calls after treatments, answering patients' calls when they have preoccupations or questions before or after treatment, and updating their files.
  • Offering support for inventory management.
  • Managing mail that is related to technical issues (answering patients' questions, keeping contact with representatives to inform them of all questions and issues that were raised).
  • Offering support for activities related to the Chamber of Commerce, staff meetings, luncheons with representatives and offsite events (setting up and cleaning).
  • Attending staff meetings, training sessions, conferences, and other events.
  • Delivering training sessions on lasers, treatments and interventions to new staff members.
  • Offering support for updating or creating new administrative documents, consent forms or treatment regimens.
  • Ensuring that rooms are furnished with information and price leaflets destined to patients, etc.
  • Helping to find solutions to laserrelated problems, and communicating with repair services when necessary.
  • Answering other clinics' calls concerning training or various questions.
  • Helping to shop for the clinic.

Salary:
$16.00-$28.00 per hour
