**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the setup and breakdown of hydrovac equipment at job sites.
- Support the Hydrovac Truck Operator in operating and controlling the hydrovac system.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines throughout the excavation process.
- Perform general maintenance tasks on equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with the team to complete excavation projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork.
- Physical fitness for the demands of the job.
- DZ or Class 3 license is an asset.

Details:

- Local work in Ottawa/Gatineau region;
- Part-time basis (this position involves replacing current position holders during their absences including weekends, nights, etc.)

Responsabilités:

- Aider à l'installation et au démontage de l'équipement hydrovac sur les chantiers.
- Soutenir l'Opérateur de Camion Hydrovac dans l'exploitation et le contrôle du système hydrovac.
- Veiller au respect des procédures et des directives de sécurité tout au long du processus d'excavation.
- Effectuer des tâches d'entretien général sur l'équipement et les outils.
- Collaborer avec l'équipe pour achever efficacement les projets d'excavation.
- Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et organisé.

Qualifications:

- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent.
- Expérience antérieure dans un rôle similaire ou volonté d'apprendre.
- Capacité à travailler en extérieur par diverses conditions météorologiques.
- Fort engagement envers les protocoles de sécurité.
- Aptitude mécanique de base pour l'entretien de l'équipement.
- Compétences efficaces en communication et esprit d'équipe.
- Aptitude physique pour les exigences du travail.
- Le permis DZ ou Classe 3 est un atout.

- Poste à temps partiel (pour remplacer les opérateurs actuels pendant leurs absences incluant les fin de semaines, soirée, etc.)
