About the Opportunity

Public Health is dedicated to building a diverse workforce that values the contributions of all individuals. The Public Health Mobile Unit (PHMU) Driver position is part of a provincial program established in response to COVID-19. This role involves delivering health services, supporting emergency preparedness, community health, and immunization efforts across Nova Scotia.

About You

To be a successful candidate, you should have:

  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Nova Scotia Class 5 driver's license with minimum ten years driving experience
  • Defensive driving course completion preferred
  • Familiarity with vehicle operations
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Adaptability to changing work environments

  • Permanent Full-Time / 100% FTE / 75 Hours Bi-weekly

Compensation and Incentives

$23.34 Hourly
