This is an exciting role with an industry leader which manufactures and supplies their product range globally.

They now seek to hire a talented QA Manager with extensive HACCP management, product specifications, regulatory and GMP experience to lead their QA function.

Please note this is a hands on, on site position- there is no remote capability.
Ensuring compliance with product specifications, labeling, and regulatory standards
Overseeing and implementing HACCP, GMP, and other food safety and quality programs for the plant. Providing oversight for the development of robust manufacturing control processes and related reports use throughout the plant.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the Quality Plant strategy.
Managing customer complaint investigations, resolution and tracking.
Performing gap analysis on all Food Safety and Quality processes and procedures.
Training, mentoring, and supervising QA Supervisors.
Managing the hold and release program.
Establishing finished goods quality standards, monitor down-graded product and work with manufacturing to reduce them to appropriate levels.

You will work closely with R&D and Operations and Production to maintain the highest levels of product safety and quality across the manufacturing and supply chain process.

Degree (BA) in Food Science or related required.
~ Minimum 5+ years experience as a QA Manager in the food manufacturing sector.
~ Expertise with CFIA, SQF and BRC quality programs.
~5+ years experience working in a high speed food manufacturing environment.
