The Granite Club is currently seeking an Active Start Camp Counsellor to create a safe and exciting environment for children in their March Break Camp programs. By taking care of the kids, parents get the chance to fully enjoy the sports and social activities available at the club.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Help children prepare for activities and ensure they are punctual.
  • Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for campers.
  • Enforce rules and cleanliness standards.
  • Organize and participate in games and activities based on weekly themes.
  • Assist with meal times, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Attend to parental questions and concerns.
  • Engage in activities with children like swimming, sports, and tennis.
  • Communicate regularly with parents.
  • Encourage active participation and serve as a positive role model.
  • Be punctual, prepared, and familiar with children's information.

Requirements

  • Must have valid CPR and Emergency First Aid certification.
  • Patient and responsible individual with a genuine affinity for kids.
  • Experience working with preschoolers is a plus.
  • Previous camp counselling experience is advantageous.
  • Background in Fitness, Tennis, Squash, or Badminton is beneficial.
