Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase store profitability and achieve sales targets.
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
  • Interview, hire, and train new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor cashiering activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage store schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Implement effective time management strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage the store budget, tracking expenses and making adjustments as needed.
  • Utilize multilingual skills to assist customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Implement sales management techniques to drive revenue growth.
  • Utilize mathematical skills for inventory management, cash handling, and financial analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in store management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in time management and prioritization.
  • Budgeting experience and strong financial acumen.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Sales management experience is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills for inventory management and financial analysis.

  • Secondary School (preferred)

  • French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
