Position Overview

The Northern Regional Health Authority (Northern Health Region) was established in 2012 by merging the NOR-MAN and Burntwood RHAs, being currently the largest of the five RHAs in the Province of Manitoba.

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospital pharmacy practice is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate professional information and handle matters efficiently.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent undergraduate pharmacy degree

Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the Province of Manitoba Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada Certification

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of information systems technology and software is required.
  • Familiarity with current pharmacy computer systems and software is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including fluency in English.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Satisfactory employment record is a prerequisite.
