Coppa's Fresh Market is a family-owned and operated grocery store chain in the Greater Toronto Area. Our roots are deep in the grocery business. In 1963, the Coppa family opened our first grocery store at 1558 Queen Street West in Toronto.

We are looking for a
Store Manager to join our growing team We are looking for someone that will lead and manage our team to achieve the highest level of customer service and food quality.


Job Duties:

  • Manage the day to day store operations, including: sales, merchandizing, customer service, inventory, ordering, employee management and scheduling
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, reduce waste and spoilage, and continuously improve customer service throughout the store
  • Manage and mentor all department managers and storelevel coordinators
  • Create a positive and unique shopping experience for our customers and a highmorale work environment for our employees
  • Provide exceptional customer service through becoming wellversed in Coppa's products and offers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to sanitization and safety policies
  • Additional duties as required

Job Requirements:

  • Experience managing vendors, inventory, motivating staff and monitoring performance
  • Health and safety orientated with a passion for cleanliness adhering to food, safety and sanitation standards
  • Detailorientated, organized and accurate
  • Excellent communication skills and problemsolving abilities; positive attitude and able to motivate a team
  • Physically fit with strong manual dexterity; comfortable standing, bending, walking and lifting for long periods of time

Open availability; must be flexible to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends
