In the role of Cell Technologist, you will be joining a world-class research and development team that is delivering innovative solutions to tough problems.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing slurriesCoating, compressing, and preparing electrodes for coin cell assemblyConstructing coin cellsTroubleshooting coin cell assembly and testing equipmentOrganizing battery material powdersMeasuring and recording in-process battery assembly-related quality informationWorking closely with researchers on various internal projectsDocumentation of cell-making proceduresDocumentation of cell-building recordsReport writingOther duties as assignedYou are:A graduate with a bachelor's degree in a science related fieldAn experienced (1 year minimum) laboratory technician or researcherAble to wear a half-mask respiratorFamiliar with lab safety and handling of hazardous materialsWell organized and invested in the detailsAble to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslySkilled in manual dexterityA highly motivated self-starter who takes initiativeResourceful when it comes to solving problemsAn effective communicatorPassionate about creating a great cultureCollaborativeExtra awesome if you also have:Prior lithium-ion battery materials characterization or electrochemistry experiencePrior experience working in an accredited laboratory environmentOne dream.
