POSITION OBJECTIVE


AMTA requires the services of a skilled Summer Student to provide a wide range of administrative and programming supports to two departments - Marketing and Communications (MARCOM) and Corporate Shared Services (CSS).

As a Summer Student, you will learn from - and provide support to - these departments, executing a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

This position will be approximately three months in duration, from June until the end of August 202-
The position will be based out of our Edmonton International Airport office.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS

  • General administrative and logístical support: 80%
  • Support with event planning and implementation: 10%
  • Other support: 10%

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Inventory (review/sort) materials, files/records, and collateral items
  • Scan, organize, name, store, and dispose print and digital files and records
  • Reorganize and name SharePoint and network drive files to ensure consistency
  • Participate in meetings under the supervision and direction of the department leads; attend
- meetings and take/file notes

  • Create manual for Building Operations and Finance Administration
  • Convert personnel files to digital records
  • Provide customer services support by answering telephones, monitoring and replying to electronic inquiries, and interacting with senior support staff
  • Provide assistance at corporate events and functions
  • Update branded templates
  • Assist with execution of social media strategy
  • Conduct research as directed
  • Identify gaps and champion solutions to support departments' needs
  • Other miscellaneous duties and projects as required or assigned
