Regional Sales Manager- Eastern Canada/USA

Lumen Warm (referred to as LW) , a Quebec City based architectural lighting manufacturer, offering a wide collection of architectural luminaires to assist specifiers in achieving outstanding and personalized lighting designs is expending and currently looking for an Eastern Regional Sales Manager (referred to as RSM).

Description:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and growth of the Lumen Warm brand and business within his or her respective region. He or she will be responsible to support all marketing efforts, including trade shows, product trainings, to meet sales goals, to manage and assist and train Lumen Warm rep agencies, to provide and execute sales strategies leading to brand awareness and market share growth through specifiers such as architects, designers, Engineers, Distributors, contractors, integrators and end users.

Job Responsibilities:

· 50% to 60% Travelling time across the region including Canadian Provinces and US States.

· Attend trade shows and other events as required.

· Seek out project opportunities and manage them to completion directly or with the LW rep agents.

· Manage, motivate, develop new business and increase overall sales, support all selling efforts of the LW rep agencies within his or her respective region.

· Train the trainer, ensure product knowledge by doing regular product trainings, road time, events and trade shows to assist your respective LW reps.

· Establish and maintain positive business environment and customer relationships.

· Regular reporting on project opportunities, sales figures but as well, feedbacks on customer needs, problems, competitive products and activities.

· Evaluate performances of assigned LW rep agents, make recommendations for hiring/termination as necessary.

The Ideal Candidate Should:

· The ideal candidate for the Eastern RSM role will reside in the Province of Ontario or Quebec.

· Be bilingual in both English and French is an important asset.

· Have 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial/specification lighting industry in a sales role.

· Having previous experience as RSM or in architectural products company sales roles or with a sales agent would be an asset.

· Team player, respectful, trainable, ready to learn and manageable attitude

· Energetic, organized, highly self-motivated, result driven will be an asset for the role.

· Offering creative mindset, showing business and service driven attitude.

· Offering high degree of integrity, having management skills and great work ethic.

· Proven track record of building long-term mutually beneficial relationships with agencies, specifiers, and end users.

· A self-starter who can manage complex priorities simultaneously within demanding timelines.

· Ability to develop advanced business planning with rep agents including sales strategy, sophisticated and market analysis leading to goal achievement.

· Strong business acumen including proven analytical, negotiation, financial, communication program and project management, and presentation skills.

· Minimum experience with CRM, forecasting, and project management systems

· Proficient with all Microsoft Office tools especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Compensation:

· Commensurate with experience. Includes competitive package including base salary, commission plan, Mileage allocation, paid vacation, lap top, cell phone, etc...
