Key Responsibilities:

As the CAD/CAM Designer, you will:

Create and maintain feasible/robust designs/drawings/schematics that meet: Accepted Crestline Engineering/QMS standardsInternal/external customer requirementsAs applicable, OEM chassis requirementsAs required, regulatory and statutory requirementsExemplary standards of fit and finish for efficient manufacturing Solicit product feedback on manufacturability and accuracy / completeness of documentation during the manufacturing cycleReview Production feedback and incorporate relevant changesCoordinate the procurement of subcontracted materials through Supply ChainDeliver accurate and robust Bill of MaterialsImprove business and quality related processes, using Lean thinking and Lean tools to decrease cost, boost quality and improve on time deliveryIncorporate Production suggestions where the change will improve product manufacturabilityUse marketing suggestions and customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction and serviceabilityUse feedback from Quality Cost and Delivery Metrics(QCD) to drive improvementWork with the Product Development team to incorporate production efficiency at early stages of designCreate and maintain design Engineering project plans in MS project and other platforms Support the Vehicle Platform and Product Applications Specialist for bids and tendersSupport in troubleshooting of production and service issuesSupport Compliance Engineering when required

QUALIFICATIONS

As the CAD/CAM Designer, you will bring:

An engineering technology diploma in design and manufacturing engineering or equivalentProficiency and/or working knowledge in ECAD tools and drafting principlesA working knowledge of PDM or PLM systemsTroubleshooting, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving mentalityAn agile and adaptable mindset with a strong sense of urgencyExcellent oral and written communication skillsA highly self-motivated attitude with a keen attention to detail
