Duties:

  • Data entry in Quickbooks
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
  • Handle taxrelated tasks and GST QST returns

Skills:

  • Proficiency in using accounting software QuickBooks *
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

Salary:
$20.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Westmount, QC H3Z 1Z3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 1 year (required)
  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English and French (preferred)
