Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:

Required

Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC/ACSS) Masters of Divinity, or Master of Pastoral Studies, or Masters of Arts in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy, or Masters in Spiritual Care Counselling Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or a willingness to become registered Experience with staff schedules, workflow and assignments, budgeting and quality improvement initiatives Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma or other quality improvement programs Team lead experience in coaching and mentoring staff Knowledge of various models of spiritual care and their appropriate use in a variety of practice contexts Demonstrate business acumen and ability to support the strategic direction of Brightshores Knowledge of multi-faith, Indigenous cultural awareness and multigenerational trauma informed care Experience in an acute care setting and/or hospice; experience in crisis care, mental health, end-of-life care, ethics, MAID, and organ and tissue donation Experience with electronic patient documentation and Microsoft office applications Excellent communication (verbal/written English), interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills Possession of a valid Ontario Class G Driver's License and personal vehicle; ability to travel to all sites as required Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records Adherence to Brightshores 'CARE' Behaviours (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) and 'LEAD' Competencies (Lead by example, Empower, Achieve results, Develop others) and a commitment to a safe workplace free of violence and harassment Advocates and supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates an understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at Brightshores through patient safety knowledge, skills and attitudes
