Explore the Opportunity:

We are thrilled to offer a compelling position at our Vancouver office for a skilled Senior Architectural Technologist with experience acting as a Job Captain on projects within a Revit environment. Leveraging your proficiency in Revit, you will collaborate with a team to spearhead various production tasks to generate the necessary documents essential for navigating a project from its initial concept to fruition. Your role will involve the coordination, management, and creation of design development and construction documents for innovative and intricate projects.

Your Role at Kasian:

  • Collaborate with your project team to fulfill project documentation requirements throughout all project stages
  • Lead, develop, produce, and review Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications
  • Lead, develop, produce, and review Contract Documents (CD) and specifications
  • Ensure alignment of consultant documentation with project criteria, client program, drawings, and specifications; oversee consultant work
  • Supervise the preparation of tender documents
  • Participate in coordination and site meetings
  • Manage drawing production to cater to necessary tender packages
  • Research construction materials
  • Conduct code and bylaw analysis
  • Execute Quality Control procedures
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and direction to other Production Team Members

Your Credentials for Kasian:

  • A minimum of eight years of experience as an architectural technologist
  • An Architectural Technology Diploma or Architecture Degree
  • Experience on projects across various sectors – Industrial, Commercial, and Senior Living
  • Proficiency in construction documentation, including envelope detailing, is essential
  • Proficient in Revit
  • A thorough understanding of current building systems, materials, and codes
  • A commitment to accuracy
  • A collaborative and adaptable mindset
  • Driven, with exceptional organizational abilities

Compensation begins at $75,000+ annually, based on a 40-hour workweek. Actual pay may vary based on education, experience, and skill level.
