Schedule:
Intermittent; 2-3 days per month as follows

  • Monday-Friday, 9:30am6pm (46 hours within this time frame)
  • Weekdays, 6pm10pm (24 hours within this time frame)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bedtime routines during evening shifts
  • Engaging with children
  • Occasional bathroom assistance for 4 year old
  • Tidying related to children
  • Walks to nearby playground

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional childcare experience
  • Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada/Canadian citizen
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age to apply

$22.00-$24.00 per hour

  • This family needs backup care on any day between Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:30am10pm for 26 hours at a time. Please share your general availability for backup care within this time frame.
  • Please briefly explain your professionally paid childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting.
  • Are you able and willing to provide 2 childcare references from your most recent childcare positions? These references must be from a paid/professional position and cannot be related to you. We will request this information as part of our vetting process if the hiring family decides to move forward (after your interview with the family).
  • The rate for this position is $22$24 CAD. Does the offered rate align with what you are looking for in your next position?
  • Do you have a valid CPR Certificate or are you willing to become up to date on this prior to starting with this family?
