Position Summary
The Business Analyst will maintain and develop performance metrics for Operations.

Pull, manipulate, and analyze system data to support wide range of business initiatives including Production improvements, capacity modeling, and Sales forecasting.

Provide recommendations and insight into business process through interrogation of ERP system. Support scheduling activities as well as testing and process development in the ERP system.

This position is located in Sydney, BC, and is fully on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain Operations Metrics ensuring information is accurate and current
  • Support or lead the development of Manufacturing Plans and Master Production Schedules
  • Pull, manipulate, and analyze system data to support various projects
  • Provide support for testing of new processes in ERP system
  • Special projects and other duties as required by management

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering / Eng. Tech. with
  • Experience with statistical analysis in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong MS Office user with exceptional Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of cost accounting and cost estimating
  • Knowledge of aerospace engineering and manufacturing principles and techniques.
Education

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering / Eng. Tech.
  • APICS certification and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Business modeling and forecasting
  • Database & programming experience in SQL, M, Python preferred
  • Reporting software experience (Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP utilization and optimization
  • Visual Manufacturing ERP experience preferred
Certifications

  • APICS
  • Lean Manufacturing

  • Intermediate to Advance knowledge in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate and document information using a computer and required software
