Paint Prep Labourer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with mínimal direction to all written or verbal work instructions
  • Prepare the surface of raw or primed materials for further processing
  • Operate basic hand tools and job specific power tools related to paint prep activates
  • Performs all tasks related to their classification in accordance with safe work practices and applicable legislation
  • Comply with all WHMIS and environmental regulations regarding the storage, use and disposal of hazardous chemicals
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • MUST be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience an asset but willing to train the right applicant
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to give and take clear direction; verbal and written
  • Safety training an asset but willing to train as required
  • Detail oriented and willing to function as part of a highly motivated team
  • Must pass preemployment physical demands and abilities assessment
