Come join our production/warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate - we are looking for someone who is a planner, organizer, understands how to create an efficient warehouse - a team player who can ensure the production team always has material ready and available - someone who takes pride in their ability to delivery on quality while honouring deadlines.

You will roll up your sleeves and jump right in each day, ensuring the efficient movement of material through the warehouse and production - you will put your strong organizational skills to use, creating a well-organized and efficient warehouse - from time to time, you will spot check inventory, comparing to the system;s inventory level.


You see everything through safety lenses - health and safety is your number one priority - you know the importance of maintaining a clean and safe workspace and safety operating a forklift by following all health and safety rules.

In summary, you will:
- operate the forklift to organize material throughout the warehouse
- pick and deliver required material to the production team
- label and organize all skids/material in the warehouse
- maintain and conduct inventory spot checks and quality control procedures
- conduct regular preventative maintenance and initial troubleshooting on the forklift
- understand and follow all warehouse and production policies and procedures
- maintain a clean and safe warehouse and outside storage by stacking skids or pallets in designated areas, cleaning up and disposing of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping material, etc.
- perform additional duties as required

What will you bring to the Team?_
- five (5) years of forklift and warehouse experience in conjunction with a valid forklift license
- knowledge of fundamental safety principles within a manufacturing environment
- knowledge and respect for health & safety policies and procedures
- flexibility to take on any production task at a moment's notice
- a self-starter who is resulted oriented and understands the importance of quality assurance.
- demonstrated ability to plan & organize a warehouse.
- experience with proper material handling techniques
- demonstrated track record for being dependable, accountable
- competency in multi-tasking, problem solving and troubleshooting to provide solutions
- a collaborator, strong team player with demonstrated communication skills (written & verbal)
- the ability to lift up to 50lbs
