Do you share our purpose and passion? What you'll do This is an Early Childhood Care and Education position in the Children's Centre on campus. The position works collaboratively with other educators, and with the Centre for Childhood Studies, to provide a nurturing, inclusive and rich early learning environment for young children. The position reports to the Manager of the Children's Centre and to the Dean of the faculty of Education, Health and Human Development. What you'll bring Completion of an Early Childhood Education degree program (which includes the Early Childhood Education certificate, Special Needs Education license and/or Infant/Toddler Education license). Strong knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework and ability to implement it into practice. A minimum of two years' experience working in group child care, preferably in a leadership role. Completion of a valid safety oriented first-aid certificate. Posting Detail Information Days and Hours of Work The Children's Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:00pm. Shifts are 8 hours in length and will vary according to a shift rotation. This position will may include working evenings and weekends based on departmental needs.
