WSP Oil and Gas Division is hiring Experienced Process Engineers to work in the Calgary's Center of Excellence on projects in the oil and gas industry and energy transition markets.

You will be part of our growing team, using your skills as an Engineer to design facilities across Canada and globally.

As an intermediate process engineer you will begin to plan and complete work without supervision and include checking calculations and aid in training of more junior engineers.

# Conduct process simulations using appropriate software to optimize system performance and efficiency. This includes modeling and predicting process behaviors using mathematical models and computer simulations.
# This includes preparing data sheets that detail the specifications and requirements of each piece of equipment.
# Prepare data sheets for instruments used in the process. These sheets should include details such as instrument specifications, operating conditions, and maintenance requirements.
# Markup Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to reflect changes in the process or equipment. This may involve analyzing process data, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
# This involves identifying and evaluating potential hazards in the process and proposing measures to mitigate these risks.
# Engineer may be put in charge of smaller projects or be assigned to a specific client as alliance support. On larger projects will support Area Lead to complete tasks above.
Required minimum 5 years or more experience in the oil and gas industry working as a process engineer
Strong communication and report writing skills
Be organized and complete tasks with a focus on quality, schedule and budget.
